Waukesha County is a United States county located in the United States of Wisconsin. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Waukesha County is home to 360767 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 380629, giving it the third largest population among Wisconsin's county. The county extends throughout a territory of 580.48 miē (1503.44 kmē ), of which, 555.58 square miles (1438.95 kmē) of it is land and 24.91 square miles (64.52 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 11th smallest by total area among Wisconsin's county.

The population density was 649.4 people per square mile (250.73/kmē), it is second most densely populated county in Wisconsin. In the Waukesha County, 26.3% of the population was under the age of 18, 6.8% were 18 to 24, 29.8% were 25 to 44, 25.1% were 45 to 64, and 12% who were 65 or older.
