Watertown City is a city in the Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population of the city was 32986 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 32365, It is the 41st largest by population in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. It covers total area of 4.16 miē (10.77 kmē), of which, 4.11 square miles (10.64 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 125th largest by total area among Massachusetts.
