Washington County, Wisconsin is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The county has a population of 117493 as per the 2000 census data. Its population was estimated at 129477 in July 2008, making it the 11th most populous county in Wisconsin. The county extends throughout a territory of 435.89 mi˛ (1128.95 square kilometre ), of which, 430.82 square miles (1115.82 square kilometre) of it is land and 5.07 square miles (13.13 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the fifth smallest by total area in Wisconsin.

In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 26.7% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 31.5% from 25 to 44, 23.4% from 45 to 64, and 11.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 129477, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 125313 White, 1550 Black or African American, 385 American Indian, 1266 Asian, 38 Native Hawaiian, and 925 from two or more races.
