It is the 135th largest by population in the U.S. state of West Virginia. It covers total area of 4.35 miē (11.27 kmē), of which, 4.25 square miles (11.01 kmē) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 kmē) of it is water, it is the 43rd largest by area in the U.S. state of West Virginia.
