Wasatch County is a county located in the United States of Utah. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 15215 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 21066, It is Utah's 13th most populous county. It covers total area of 1209.17 sq mi (3131.74 kmē), of which, 1177.39 square miles (3049.43 kmē) of it is land and 31.78 square miles (82.31 kmē) of it is water, it is the ninth smallest by area in the U.S. state of Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 15215 people in the county, organized into 4743 households, and 3872 families living in the county. The population density was 12.9 people per square mile (4.98/kmē), making it the tenth most densely populated county in Utah. There were 6564 housing units at an average density of 5.6 per square mile (2.16/kmē). The average household size was 3.18 and the average family size was 3.55. In the Wasatch County, 34.2% of the population was under the age of 18, 9.9% were 18 to 24, 29% were 25 to 44, 18.5% were 45 to 64, and 8.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 103.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.5 males. Its population was estimated at 21066 in July 2008, The racial makeup of the county was 20167 White, 74 Black or African American, 121 American Indian, 181 Asian, 25 Native Hawaiian, and 498 from two or more races.
