Warrensburg City is a one of the Johnson County, Missouri, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 16340 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 19034, It is 46th most populous in Missouri. The city extends throughout a territory of 8.49 square miles (21.99 sq km ), of which, 8.43 square miles (21.83 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 68th largest by total area in Missouri.
