Warren County is a county located in New York, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 63303. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 65971, making it New York's 38th largest county. The county has a total area of 931.66 sq mi (2412.99 kmē), of which, 869.29 square miles (2251.45 kmē) of it is land and 62.37 square miles (161.54 kmē) of it is water, making it New York's 24th largest county by total area.

The population density was 72.8 people per square mile (28.11/kmē), making it the 16th least densely populated county in New York. There were 34852 housing units at an average density of 40.1 per square mile (15.48/kmē). The average household size was 2.41 people, and the average family size was 2.93 people. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 24% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 25.1% from 45 to 64, and 15.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91 males. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 65971, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 96.95% White, 0.97% Black or African American, 0.23% American Indian, 0.86% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.99% from two or more races.
