Warren County, Indiana is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the county was 8419 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 8547, making it the third least populous county in Indiana. The county extends throughout a territory of 366.6 sq mi (949.49 kmē ), of which, 364.88 square miles (945.03 kmē) of it is land and 1.72 square miles (4.45 kmē) of it is water, making it Indiana's 26th smallest county by total area.

The population density was 23.1 people per square mile (8.92/kmē), giving it the least densely populated county among the Indiana. There were 3477 housing units at an average density of 9.5 per square mile (3.67/kmē). The average household size was 2.58 people, and the average family size was 2.98 people. In the county Age distribution was 26% under the age of 18, 6.6% from 18 to 24, 28% from 25 to 44, 25.5% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 97.3 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 104.5 females. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 8547, The racial makeup of the county was 8436 White, 20 Black or African American, 13 American Indian, 31 Asian, 2 Native Hawaiian, and 45 from two or more races.
