Walnut Grove Town is a town located in the Etowah County, Alabama, United States. As of 2000 the population was 710. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 697, It is Alabama's 319th largest by population . The town has a total area of 5.03 sq mi (13.03 sq km), of which, 5.01 square miles (12.98 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 247th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
