Walnut Cove Town is one of the town of Stokes County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 1465 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1596, It is the 312th most populous in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The town has a total area of 2.41 square miles (6.24 sq km), it is the 337th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
