Wallace City, Idaho is a city of the Shoshone County, Idaho, United States. Wallace City had an official population of 960 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 861, giving it the 83rd largest population among Idaho. The city encompasses an area of 0.87 mi˛ (2.25 square kilometre), it is the 100th largest by area in the U.S. state of Idaho.
