Walker City, Michigan is a city of the Kent County, Michigan, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 21842 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 23722, It is the 63rd most populous in the U.S. state of Michigan. Its area is just over 25.43 miē (65.86 kmē), of which, 25.16 square miles (65.16 kmē) of it is land and 0.28 square miles (0.73 kmē) of it is water, making it Michigan's 25th largest by total area.
