Waleska City is a one of the Cherokee County, Georgia, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 616 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 889, making it the 193rd least populous in Georgia. The city has a total area of 1.46 mi˛ (3.78 square kilometre), of which, 1.46 square miles (3.78 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Georgia's 160th smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 616 residents, 107 households, and 79 families in the city. The population density was 422.7 people per square mile (163.21/km˛), making it the 363rd most densely populated city in Georgia. There were 114 housing units at an average density of 78.1 per square mile (30.15/km˛). The average household size was 2.43 people, and the average family size was 2.81 people.
