Walden Village is a United States city located in the Orange County, New York, United States. In 2000, city's population was 6164 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 6977, making it the 286th most populous in New York. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.05 square miles (5.31 sq km ), of which, 1.97 square miles (5.1 sq km) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 sq km) of it is water, making it New York's 529th largest by total area.
