Waianae Cdp is a United States census designated place located in the Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States. The census designated place has a population of 10506 as per the 2000 census data. It is the 20th largest by population in the U.S. state of Hawaii. Its area is just over 5.1 sq mi (13.21 kmē), of which, 3.4 square miles (8.81 kmē) of it is land and 1.69 square miles (4.38 kmē) of it is water, making it the 53rd largest by size in Hawaii. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in Hawaii.

As of the census of 2000, there were 10506 people, 2595 households, and 2221 families living in the census designated place. The population density was 3086 people per square mile (1191.51/kmē), making its Hawaii's 30th most densely populated census designated place.
