Wahpeton City is a city located in Richland County, North Dakota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Wahpeton City is home to 8586 inhabitants. It is spread over 5 square miles (12.95 kmē), giving it the 21st largest by total area among North Dakota.
