Waelder City is a one of the Gonzales County, Texas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 947 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 992, giving it the 932nd largest population among Texas. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.29 mi˛ (3.34 square kilometre ), of which, 1.28 square miles (3.32 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 404th smallest by total area in Texas.
