Wadley Town is a one of the Randolph County, Alabama, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the town was 640 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 647, making it the 163rd least populous in Alabama. Its area is just over 1.44 mi˛ (3.73 sq km), of which, 1.38 square miles (3.57 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 91st smallest by total area in Alabama.

As of the census of 2000, there were 640 residents, 228 households, and 149 families in the town. The population density was 463.7 people per square mile (179.04/km˛), it is 155th most densely populated town in Alabama. There were 276 housing units at an average density of 200 per square mile (77.22/km˛). The average household size was 2.28 persons, and the average family size was 2.91 persons.
