Wadena County is a county in the United States of Minnesota. The county has a population of 13713 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 13311, giving it the 28th smallest population among Minnesota's county. It covers total area of 543 sq mi (1406.36 square kilometre), of which, 535.02 square miles (1385.7 square kilometre) of it is land and 7.98 square miles (20.67 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Minnesota's 23rd smallest county by total area.
