Wadena City is a city in the Wadena and Otter Tail counties, Minnesota, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 4294 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 3980 in July 2008, It is the 140th most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city has a total area of 5.25 miē (13.6 kmē), making it Minnesota's 145th largest by total area.
