Wabash City is a city located in Wabash County, Indiana, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 11743 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 10815, It is the 66th most populous in the U.S. state of Indiana. Its area is just over 9.15 sq mi (23.7 sq km), of which, 8.9 square miles (23.05 sq km) of it is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 sq km) of it is water, it is the 48th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 11743 people in the city, organized into 4799 households, and 3102 families residing in the city.
