The town extends throughout a territory of 1.52 sq mi (3.94 kmē ), of which, 1.5 square miles (3.88 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 92nd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
