Vonore Town is a one of the Monroe and Blount counties, Tennessee, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1162 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 1492, It is the 244th largest in terms of population. The town comprises an area of 11.85 mi˛ (30.69 square kilometre), of which, 8.7 square miles (22.53 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.15 square miles (8.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 66th largest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in Tennessee.
