Virden Village is a city located in Hidalgo County, New Mexico, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Virden Village is home to 143 inhabitants. Its area is just over 0.22 mi˛ (0.57 sq km), it is the smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
