Vining City is a city located in Tama County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 70. Its population was estimated at 50 in July 2008, making it Iowa's 51st smallest. The city has a total area of 0.58 square miles (1.5 kmē), making it the 572nd largest by size in Iowa.
