Vestavia Hills City is a United States city located in the Jefferson and Shelby counties, Alabama, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Vestavia Hills City is home to 24476 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 30892, making it Alabama's 17th largest. It has total area of 14.64 sq mi (37.92 square kilometre), of which, 14.63 square miles (37.89 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 83rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
