As per the 2000 census, census designated place has a population of 1737 inhabitants. making it New Jersey's 75th smallest. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 2.68 sq mi (6.94 sq km ), of which, 2.64 square miles (6.84 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, it is the 228th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
