Ventnor City City is a city in the Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. The city has a population of 12910 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 12187, making it New Jersey's 119th largest. Its area is just over 3.55 mi˛ (9.19 sq km), of which, 2.14 square miles (5.54 sq km) of it is land and 1.4 square miles (3.63 sq km) of it is water, it is the 159th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12910 people, 457 households, and 284 families residing in the city. The population density was 6023.2 people per square mile (2325.57/km˛), it is the 80th most populated city in terms of population density.
