Vandalia City, Montgomery County, Ohio is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 14603 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 14124, making it Ohio's 116th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 11.88 square miles (30.77 sq km), of which, 11.81 square miles (30.59 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, making it the 66th largest by size in Ohio.

As of the census of 2000, there were 14603 people in the city, organized into 6235 households, and 4091 families living in the city.
