Valley Head Town is a town located in DeKalb County, Alabama, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 611 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 650, It is Alabama's 153rd smallest by population . According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.49 mi˛ (9.04 square kilometre), giving it the 305th largest by total area among Alabama.
