Valley County is a county in the United States of Nebraska. In 2000, the population was 4647. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 4182, making it the 60th most populous county in Nebraska. The county encompasses an area of 570.51 sq mi (1477.61 kmē ), of which, 568.11 square miles (1471.4 kmē) of it is land and 2.41 square miles (6.24 kmē) of it is water, it is the 28th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
