Vallejo City is one of the city of Solano County, California, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 116760 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 114729, It is California's 44th largest by population . The city has a total area of 48.75 miē (126.26 kmē), of which, 30.19 square miles (78.19 kmē) of it is land and 18.56 square miles (48.07 kmē) of it is water, making it California's 39th largest by total area. It is ranks 13 in the size of its inland waterways in California.

As of the census of 2000, there were 116760 people, 39601 households, and 28245 families living in the city.
