Utah County is a United States county located in the United States of Utah. The population of the county was 368536 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 530837, It is the second most populous county in the U.S. state of Utah. It has total area of 2140.98 mi˛ (5545.11 sq km), of which, 1998.33 square miles (5175.65 sq km) of it is land and 142.64 square miles (369.44 sq km) of it is water, it is the 16th largest by area in the U.S. state of Utah. It is ranks fifth in the size of its inland waterways in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 368536 people in the county, organized into 99937 households, and 80738 families living in the county. The population density was 184.4 people per square mile (71.2/km˛), it is the fourth most populated county in terms of population density. There were 104315 housing units at an average density of 52.2 per square mile (20.15/km˛). It has an average household size was 3.59 persons, and the average family size was 3.86 persons. In the county the population was distributed as follows: 34.1% under the age of 18, 21% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 12.7% from 45 to 64, and 6.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.5 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 530837, The racial makeup of the county was 94.86% White, 0.71% Black or African American, 0.68% American Indian, 1.44% Asian, 0.62% Native Hawaiian, and 1.69% from two or more races.
