Utah is a United States's state located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, state's population was 2233169 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2736424, making it the 34th most populous in United States. The state encompasses an area of 84898.83 sq mi (219886.96 kmē ), of which, 82143.65 square miles (212751.08 kmē) of it is land and 2755.18 square miles (7135.88 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 13th largest by total area among United States. It is ranks 16 in the size of its inland waterways in United States.
