Urbandale City, Polk and Dallas counties, Iowa is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 29072 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 38369, It is 14th most populous in Iowa. The city extends throughout a territory of 20.72 square miles (53.66 sq km ), of which, 20.69 square miles (53.59 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 15th largest in terms of geographical size.
