Upton City is a United States city located in the Hardin and LaRue counties, Kentucky, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 654 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 616, It is the 297th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.55 square miles (4.01 kmē ), it is the 213th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kentucky.
