University Park City is a United States city located in the Mahaska County, Iowa, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 536 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 542, giving it the 453rd largest population among Iowa. Its area is just over 0.77 square miles (1.99 square kilometre), making it the 472nd largest by size in Iowa.

As of the census of 2000, there were 536 residents, 195 households, and 139 families in the city. The population density was 697 people per square mile (269.11/kmē), making its Iowa's 520th most densely populated city.
