University Heights City is a city in the Johnson County, Iowa, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 987 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1050, making it the 281st most populous in Iowa. The city comprises an area of 0.27 sq mi (0.7 sq km), making it Iowa's 146th smallest by total area.
