Union Beach Borough, New Jersey is a borough of the Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is home to over 6649 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 6620, making it New Jersey's 244th largest. Its area is just over 1.93 sq mi (5 square kilometre), of which, 1.88 square miles (4.87 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 298th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6649 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the borough. The population density was 3545.1 people per square mile (1368.77/kmē), it is the 196th most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of New Jersey. There were 2229 housing units at an average density of 1185.6 per square mile (457.76/kmē). It has an average household size was 3.09 persons, and the average family size was 3.44 persons. In the borough the population is diverse age-wise, with 29.1% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 33% from 25 to 44, 22.1% from 45 to 64, and 7.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.9 males.
