Unalakleet City is a one of the Nome Census Area, Alaska, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. Unalakleet City had an official population of 747 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 746, making it the 75th most populous in Alaska. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.13 sq mi (13.29 kmē), of which, 2.87 square miles (7.43 kmē) of it is land and 2.27 square miles (5.88 kmē) of it is water, making it the 70th smallest by size in Alaska.

The population density was 260.5 people per square mile (100.58/kmē), making its Alaska's 32nd most densely populated city.
