Umatilla City, Florida is a city of the Lake County, Florida, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2214 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 3028, making it the 284th least populous in Florida. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.06 sq mi (7.93 square kilometre ), of which, 2.54 square miles (6.58 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.52 square miles (1.35 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 493rd largest by total area in Florida.
