Uintah County, Utah is a county of the United States of Utah. The county has a population of 25224 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 29885, It is the 11th most populous county in the U.S. state of Utah. It has total area of 4498.98 mi˛ (11652.3 sq km), of which, 4477.07 square miles (11595.56 sq km) of it is land and 21.91 square miles (56.75 sq km) of it is water, giving it the sixth largest by total area among Utah's county.

The population density was 5.6 people per square mile (2.16/km˛), it is Utah's 16th most densely populated county. There were 9040 housing units at an average density of 2 per square mile (0.77/km˛). The average household size was 3.05 and the average family size was 3.45. In the county Age distribution was 34.6% under the age of 18, 10.7% from 18 to 24, 25.4% from 25 to 44, 19.3% from 45 to 64, and 9.9% who were 65 or older. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 29885, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 88.32% White, 0.41% Black or African American, 9.36% American Indian, 0.32% Asian, 0.12% Native Hawaiian, and 1.48% from two or more races.
