Tuscumbia City is one of the city of Colbert County, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 7856. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 8308, making it the 69th most populous in Alabama. It covers total area of 7.31 mi˛ (18.93 square kilometre), of which, 7.3 square miles (18.91 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 184th largest by total area among Alabama.
