Turrell City is one of the city of Crittenden County, Arkansas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 957 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 866, making it the 208th most populous in Arkansas. The city extends throughout a territory of 5.45 miē (14.12 kmē ), of which, 5.44 square miles (14.09 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 99th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 957 residents, 326 households, and 222 families in the city. The population density was 176.1 people per square mile (67.99/kmē), giving it the 88th least densely populated city among the Arkansas. There were 357 housing units at an average density of 65.6 per square mile (25.33/kmē). The average household size was 2.94 people, and the average family size was 3.7 people.
