Turkey City is one of the city of Hall County, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 494. Its population was estimated at 456 in July 2008, making it Texas's 355th smallest. It is spread over 0.82 mi˛ (2.12 square kilometre), it is the 228th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
