According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Tununak Cdp is home to 325 inhabitants. It is the 146th largest by population in the U.S. state of Alaska. It covers total area of 60.7 miē (157.21 kmē), of which, 60.5 square miles (156.69 kmē) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 kmē) of it is water, it is the 105th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alaska.
