Tunkhannock Borough is a one of the Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1911. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 1773, It is the 641st most populous in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The borough extends throughout a territory of 0.88 square miles (2.28 sq km ), giving it the 799th largest by total area among Pennsylvania.
