Tularosa Village is a city located in the Otero County, New Mexico, United States. The population of the city was 2864 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 3015, making it New Mexico's 56th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.1 mi˛ (5.44 square kilometre), giving it the 75th smallest by total area among New Mexico.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2864 residents, 457 households, and 284 families in the city. The population density was 1363.2 people per square mile (526.33/km˛), making it the 25th most densely populated city in New Mexico. There were 1311 housing units at an average density of 624.3 per square mile (241.04/km˛). The average household size was 2.53 persons, and the average family size was 3.09 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 27.4% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 24.9% from 25 to 44, 24% from 45 to 64, and 16.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 92.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.4 males. The racial makeup of the city was 68.61% White, 0.87% Black or African American, 4.26% American Indian, 0.66% Asian, 0.03% Native Hawaiian, 4.05% from two or more races and 21.51% Other races.
