Trussville City is a United States city located in the Jefferson and St. Clair counties, Alabama, United States. As of 2000 the population was 12924. Its population was estimated at 18985 in July 2008, It is the 44th most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. It has total area of 22.24 square miles (57.6 square kilometre), of which, 22.18 square miles (57.45 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 41st largest in terms of geographical size.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 12924 residents, 4588 households, and 3818 families in the city. The population density was 582.7 people per square mile (224.98/kmē), making it the 107th most densely populated city in Alabama.
