Truckee Town is a town in the Nevada County, California, United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 13864 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 16185, It is 369th most populous in California. It has total area of 33.85 miē (87.67 kmē), of which, 32.54 square miles (84.28 kmē) of it is land and 1.31 square miles (3.39 kmē) of it is water, it is the 73rd largest in terms of geographical size.
